Devil Jin gameplay trailer revealed for Tekken 8

Devil Jin gameplay trailer revealed for Tekken 8

According to Bandai Namco’s Release Timing Map, Tekken 8 will be available to those residing in the United States. It would appear that Bandai Namco has one more gameplay trailer to unveil before the game is officially released.

As such, this provides fans with an opportunity to see how Devil Jin plays in Tekken 8. Like every other character on Tekken 8’s 32-fighter roster, Devil Jin has already been revealed prior to this trailer. Regardless, this is probably our most in-depth look at Devil Jin in action.

Devil Jin is effectively the evil side of Jin. Like Kazuya, Jin has the Devil Gene that gives him the ability to undergo this transformation. Needless to say, it’s generally accepted that Jin and Kazuya are at a different level in terms of their canonical fighting abilities when compared to everyone else in Tekken lore.

Though Devil Jin made appearances in Tekken 3 and Tekken 4’s story, the character wouldn’t actually become playable until Tekken 5. Since then, Devil Jin has returned in Tekken 6, Tekken 7, and Tekken 8.

Despite their similarities, Devil Jin is functionally a completely separate character from Jin. Devil Jin is more willing to utilize the Mishima Style more so than Jin in later games.
