The creation of crazy boss characters seemed to be a lost art for Capcom in the Street Fighter 4 era, but they certainly proved they still know how to make some BS in Street Fighter 5’s Extra Battle additions.
Combo composer extraordinaire Desk is continuing his journey of taking control of SF5’s typically unplayable boss characters, and Shadow Nash looks even more ridiculous in his hands than the original Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter version.
Shadow Nash begins his rampage by taking down the previous boss True Bison where he loops his crouching kicks and Sonic Booms, which I wish Nash could do all the time.
Like his first Marvel appearance, Shadow can perform Moonsault Slash in the air, but Desk shows it apparently crossing up and leading to a full combo on Guile after.
The dude also gets his flip kick as a full on Marvel-style launcher like Shadow Lady also has in SF5, so he can do some extended aerial strings too — although not quite as much as evil Chun-Li can.
If you’re curious to see the wild loops and tech that Shadow Nash has available when not controlled by the computer, we highly recommend checking out Desk’s new video below.
