Desk plays 'the floor is lava' and shows off other bizarre interactions that are possible in Street Fighter 4's barrel minigame

Desk recently uploaded an interesting video that’s focused on Street Fighter 4’s barrel minigame. This video showcases many of the bizarre interactions that are possible during this scene.

At the end of the video, Desk plays a game of “the floor is lava” using Seth. This is made possible due to Seth’s amazing head stomp and wall jump, which he’s seemingly better at doing than Chun-Li herself.

If Seth is able to connect his head stomp against something after a wall jump, he’s able to make it to the other wall. From here, he can perform another wall jump and theoretically repeat the process indefinitely.

This is actually part why the Seth vs. Zangief match up is considered to be so terrible for Zangief (among other reasons) in Street Fighter 4. Regardless, Seth is able to fulfill the requirements of not touching the ground for a full 12 seconds by using head stomps and wall jumps against barrels, though it doesn’t appear to be possible to also destroy all the barrels while doing this.

During the video, Desk shows off some other unique interactions that are possible during this bonus stage. For example, Desk is able to rapidly cause a character to face left and right almost simultaneously, which can make a character appear as though they’re facing the screen.
