PARADISE — As Paradise and the ridge rebuild, so grows the need for successful small businesses to serve the growing population. With that in mind, a workshop is offered to assist those who wish to excel.
The workshop titled “Design Thinking for Small Business” takes place Tuesday, Aug. 27 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Paradise Ridge Chamber of Commerce back conference room located at 6161 Clark Road Suite 1 in Paradise.
Product expert Jason Ugie will lead the workshop. Ugie boasts more than 15 years of continuous improvement, operational leadership, program oversight and people-management experience.
“I am highly organized in leading top-performing teams in the product development lifecycle to deliver desired organizational results within pre-defined time and financial limits. My background lies in formulating product strategy and vision, developing user journeys and managing processes for scaling assets and innovations,” he stated.
The workshop is designed for those who seek a deeper understanding of customers and their challenges and want to create products and services that truly meet customer needs.
Business people who want fresh ways to break free from unproductive habits and “business as usual” thinking are encouraged to attend.
According to the Paradise Ridge Chamber of Commerce, “This session is perfect for small businesses looking to innovate, whether you’re in the early stages with just an idea or looking to revitalize your existing offerings.”
The two-hour workshop is interactive, making it a hands-on and productive experience that will spark new insights and solutions tailored to specific business goals.
