The Warden source have uncovered plots by PDP Stalwarts and delegates of the just concluded PDP – Senate Primaries in Cross River State, to frustrate the campaign band of her Senator, Senator Gershom Bassey.
Reports reveals that the Senator during consultations with delegates across the seven Local Government Areas of the Southern Senatorial District of Cross River State had made wanton promises to adequately compensate delegates but has till date failed to keep to his words.
Our sources also had garnered from the Senator’s kitchen a planned empowerment program which was called off due to the supplier’s inability to provide the required number of vehicle as agreed.
However, as news of the planned empowerment filtered in the ears of delegates and Party stalwarts, swords were shield.
Confidently, some of the party faithfuls have revealed plans to disappoint the campaign of Sen. Gershom Bassey as they continue to express anger towards the Senator’s negligence of the party’s structure at grassroots.
Angry delegates also promise to openly protest and peacefully disrupt the narratives during campaigns floated by the Senator should he decide not to fulfill his promises.
Further investigation reveals that some of Senator Gershom Bassey’s team players have been engaging nicodemously with his opponent in strategic meetings to embarrass and pull him out of office.
