Brighton and Hove Albion are reportedly in signing Super Eagles midfielder Fisayo dele-Bashiru from Lazio.
The 23-year-old, who joined Lazio on loan from Turkish Süper Lig side Hatayspor last summer, has impressed during his time in Serie A. His loan deal included an option for Lazio to buy at the end of the season.
Despite being just seven months into his spell with the Italian club, Dele-Bashiru is already attracting interest from Premier League clubs, including Brighton.
Dele-Bashiru, who previously played at Manchester City’s academy, could be enticed to return to England and further his career in the Premier League.
Reports from Sports Witness UK indicate that Brighton have contacted Lazio to express their interest in the midfielder as they look to strengthen their squad this month.
Although Brighton recently signed Paraguayan midfielder Diego Gomez from Inter Miami, they are still looking to add another player to their midfield.
