Manchester United could see Alejandro Garnacho remain at Old Trafford as another deal stalls for the young winger.
Throughout the month Napoli have led the charge for Garnacho, with Antonio Conte desperate to sign the Argentine.
However whilst the Serie A were focused solely on Garnacho, The Azzurri then began to focus on Borussia Dortmund’s Karim Adeyemi, in case things didn’t work out with United.
With United rejecting Napoli’s bid of £42 million, ongoing talks began to falter, and whilst Napoli aren’t officially out of the race, talks appear to be much quieter.
However, in swept Chelsea who were looking to the youngster with their left-winger Mykhaylo Mudryk currently facing a four year ban for failing a drugs test.
As such the London-based club initially looked at offering £60 million for Garnacho, before then considering a potential player swap deal.
Whilst Chelsea are keen on Garnacho, United are eyeing up Christopher Nkunku, so it’s only natural a direct trade be considered with them around the same valuations.
However, now Sam C reports that the deal is facing a bit of a stalemate.
