Sir Jim Ratcliffe acquired a minority stake in Manchester United last December, with the help of INEOS.
The 71-year-old is the CEO of INEOS and a boyhood United fan.
His company helped him purchase 25% of the club, which was completed in February 2024.
In the deal, INEOS Sport assumed control over football operations, succeeding the infamous Glazer family.
Ratcliffe has had an uneasy start to his reign at the club, due to their poor form.

Speaking on Rio Ferdinand’s podcast, David Beckham disclosed his true thoughts on Sir Jim and his minority stake purchase.
‘I think that it definitely needed change,’ he began.
Beckham left United in 2003, before the Glazers took over two years later, and he was clearly not a fan of their ownership.
‘Speaking as a United fan, I think many people said the club needed change and it needed a fresh perspective on how this club needs to be run and the decisions that are made.
‘I really like Jim, I’ve met him a few times over the years with a few mutual friends.
‘I think that he’s a fan and obviously he’s a great businessman as well, one of the best and one of the biggest,’ Beckham added.

He went on to explain the importance of United’s owners having a connection with the fans, which he believed the Glazers lacked but Sir Jim has.
‘More importantly the fans see that he cares and I think that that’s a big part of it.
‘I think the fans had lost faith with the leadership over the years and obviously he really cares about, you know, what he wants to do and what he wants to create.
‘So hopefully things will change, but these things take time. I think we’ve been quite patient as United fans over the years, but we want those good old days back.
‘We want those days back, and the sooner the better,’ he said.
Beckham is the current owner of MLS side Inter Miami.
As a fellow United fan and club owner, the 49-year-old understands Sir Jim’s struggles all too well.
Just like their millions of supporters over the world, Beckham will hope that the INEOS CEO can take United back to where they belong.
