Daigo Umehara's Ryu takes on Legend ranked JP, Cammy, and Zangief players in Street Fighter 6

Late last month, Capcom released a surprise balance patch following the events of Capcom Cup X. Ryu and Jamie ended up being the characters that benefitted the most from the patch, though Capcom pointed out that the Season 2 update is slated to be an even bigger deal for Street Fighter 6’s overall meta.

Regardless, BST|Daigo Umehara has been experimenting with the buffs that Ryu has received. Due to his training sessions, he was recently able to get into the Master rank with Ryu, and achieve some of the highest Master Rating to secure one of the Legend rankings that’s awarded to the best players online.

As such, YogaFlame24 recently uploaded gameplay footage featuring Daigo’s Ryu. During these videos, Daigo ends up facing off against other players that have been marked as Legends by the online leaderboard.

Though JP was also nerfed with the balance patch, he still appears to excel at controlling the opponent’s actions. Needless to say, Taketake ends up being a particularly tough match for Daigo.

Daigo also ends up running into Bilibili’s Cammy during his practice session. Notably, Cammy has some of the best rush down options in Street Fighter 6, which can be especially scary in the ranks of a Legend ranked player.

Finally, Daigo must also face off against a Zangief player known as Kobayan. Check it all out in the videos below:
