Daigo Umehara embraces the silliness of throw loops and gives Nemo a dosage of Judo for his birthday in Street Fighter 6

Like them or not, throw loops are currently a big part of Street Fighter 6’s meta right now. Many characters in Street Fighter 6 are capable of dishing out huge amount of damage, so it’s easy to get caught up in just allowing yourself to be thrown in specific scenarios.

It would appear that BST|Daigo Umehara has fully embraced the silliness of the throw loop meta. In a recent video, he issued Nemo the gift of “Judo” on his birthday.

At one point in the video, Nemo’s JP found himself in the corner against Daigo’s Ken. Even though Nemo still had around three-fourths of his stamina remaining, this was a dangerous situation within Street Fighter 6.

Every time Daigo threw Nemo, a funny image depicting Daigo and an angry Nemo in Judo or Karate Gis would pop up on the screen. This funny image had Daigo performing an over-the-shoulder throw against Nemo.

This happened six times in a row during that particular round. Later on, chat had Daigo laughing with a comment that indicated that Daigo had given Nemo the birthday present of Judo.
