WEBSTER COUNTY, Ga. (TCD) — A 36-year-old man was arrested on multiple charges over the weekend after his young daughters were found deceased inside a burning car.
According to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI), on Saturday, March 30, the Webster County Sheriff’s Office, Webster County Fire Department, EMS, and Georgia State Patrol were called to a home in Preston regarding a car on fire. After firefighters extinguished the blaze, they located a 3-year-old girl and 1-year-old girl deceased inside the vehicle.
The Webster County Sheriff’s Office reached out to the GBI and asked them to take over the investigation into the children’s death. Investigators learned that the girls’ father, Adan Panzo, allegedly set the car on fire while he was in a domestic dispute with his wife.
Panzo was arrested for felony murder, malice murder, and arson.
