The Red Devils have had a mixed run of form at home, winning just two of their last five league matches at Old Trafford.
On the other hand, Oliver Glasner’s Palace side has been dealing with a tough stretch of injuries but will look to capitalize on United’s vulnerabilities.
United have had attacking difficulties throughout the campaign, with Amad Diallo and Alejandro Garnacho expected to play key roles in breaking down Palace’s defensive setup.
Bruno Fernandes will also be a crucial figure in orchestrating the attack from midfield.
Palace, meanwhile, have relied on a compact defensive shape and counter-attacking play under Glasner.
However, the absence of Eberechi Eze will be a major blow to their creativity going forward.
Glasner provided a detailed injury update ahead of the game, confirming that Eze, Chadi Riad, and Cheick Doucoure will all be unavailable.
Doucoure is set to undergo knee surgery, while Riad has suffered an ACL rupture that could sideline him for an extended period.
Despite these setbacks, Palace received a much-needed boost with the return of two key players.

Adam Wharton and Matheus Franca have trained without further complications and will be included in the squad for the trip to Manchester.
Glasner praised their performances in training and believes their return will be a significant boost for the team.
He claimed, “We have very positive news: Adam Wharton and [Matheus] França trained with us the whole week without any issues, and we’re thinking both will be in the squad because they were very impressive in training, and it will also lift their confidence and mood after being out for several weeks.”
These two key players returned for Palace just in time for this crucial match against United, providing a timely boost for Glasner’s side.
