The Cross River University of Technology Alumni Association’s Electoral Committee chaired by Comrade Arc. Ekpo E. Otu with her Secretary Comrade Adjah Esulrem has approved the commencement of the alumni association’s electoral calendar.
This development is contained in a press statement issued by the Association and signed and countersigned by the electoral committee chair and secretary. It reads ‘This is to inform members and the general public that, the electoral committee in her inaugural meeting held on August 30, 2019, has approved the commencement of 2019 election calendar for national offices.
‘However, interested and qualified members of the above named association are by this notice informed of the sales of nomination/expression of interest form for the following national offices…’

The electoral committee which regrets the failure to announce venue and convention schedule yet has assured her members and the general public of a free, transparent, fair and credible electoral process: ‘the Committee will soon announce election venue and convention schedule’.
