Cross River State House of Assembly (CRSHA) invites the Assistant Inspector General (AIG) of the Nigerian Police Force Zone 6, Commissioner of Police CRS, Director State Security Services (SSS), Attorney General CRS, and State Security Adviser to attend an executive session of the House on Monday 13th June 2016, to brief the House members on the state of security situation in Cross River State.
In a motion of urgent public importance initiated by the Leader of the House, Rt. Hon. Moses Ucheche, representing Obanlikwu State Constituency, the House queried the spate of insecurity, crime and disorder resulting from kidnapping and armed robbery and noted that the relevant government agencies are not performing their statutory and constitutional responsibilities.
The invitation to the agencies will offer them the opportunity to offer public explanation to the House subsequent to relevant Legislative action.
