CRSG Partner Dortmund & Skipper to further Industrialise Garment & Power Sectors

Reliable report reaching us are indicative of the fact that Governor Ben Ayade yesterday met with German investors from Dortmund in view of the Cross River State Garment and Textile Factory Limited located at the New Industrial Boulevard along the Goodluck Jonathan Bypass, Calabar. According to the New Media aide to His Excellency the Executive Governor of Cross River State, Eval Asikong, the meeting was in view of broadening 'the horizon of partnership opportunities between the investors and the State Government'.

Information also has it that this meeting was the second of its kind by the Dortmund investors who 'confessed that the Cross River State Garment and Textile Factory is verisimilitude with that of Germany. She went further to say that if other governors in African Region should be like Prof Ayade, Africa will be transformed in an unprecedented velocity', the aide continued.

As a way of tackling the epileptic power situation in the state and the country at large, the governor reportedly met with Skipper Group in final arrangements of a partnership with the state government to 'build 30 MWVA Power Plant in order to put the State on 24/7 power supply across board', according to SA Asikong. Present at the meeting was the Honourable Commissioner for Power, Mr Timmy Tom and a host of other senior aides.
