BUTTE CREEK CANYON — The construction site of the new Honey Run Covered Bridge was calm and peaceful on Tuesday as the frame stood tall above Butte Creek.
Just outside of the site, pallets of leftover wood sat with signs reading “free” on either side. Occasionally, a car would stop and someone would get out and collect a piece or two.
The bridge is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
