C’River Water Board commences bottle water production

The Cross River State Water Board Limited (CRSWBL) has concluded plans towards the production of its bottled water.

The move is in line with its policy thrust which is to serve a broad spectrum of institutions and customers with portable water supplies.

The Managing Director of CRSWBL, Chief Victor Effiom-Ekpo who announced this in Calabar on Thursday said “nothing can deter water board in its focus,” saying, it is the primary responsibility of the state water board to ensure supply of clean, potable and pure water to institutions and its teeming customers at an affordable price.

The MD used the opportunity to commend Governor Ben Ayade for introducing Cally Air, a move he said will have a tremendous multiplier effect for the state economy and will give a boost to the state water board who will be effectively partnering with Cally Air to ensure its passengers have portable water consumption on board the aeroplane.

He, however, encouraged consumers of water board water to pay their current and outstanding water bills to enable water board to serve them better.
