The Minister of Finance Mrs Zainab Shamsuna Ahmed has approved the nomination of Mr. Asuquo Ekpenyong Jnr, Finance Commissioner of Cross River State and 11 others into the National Council on Finance and Economic Development (NACOFED) 2020.
In a statement signed and transmitted through the office of the Director, Home Finance for the Honourable Minister, Stephen A. Okon it reads;
“Further to the decision reached on the meeting of the Federation of Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) held on 17th September, 2020 to hold a NACOFED conference, I am directed to inform you of your nomination as a member of the local organizing committee for the conference”
“The conference is being organized by the FAAC in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Finance, Budget and Planning and is proposed to hold in November 2020 in Abuja”
Also, the statement outlayed it’s 5 cardinal targets which seeks a proper hosting terms and reference for a successful outing for the conference.
