The Federal High Court sitting in Calabar, Cross River State capital has convicted twelve internet fraudsters, popularly known as Yahoo Boys and two others.
THE PARADISE gathered that 9 of the Yahoo Boys and two other persons were convicted on Monday, October 11, 2021.
The suspects who were convicted by Justice Rosemary Dugbo Oghoghorie, pleaded guilty to a one-count charge bordering on cybercrime.
Also on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, three Yahoo Boys (internet fraudsters) were convicted by Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu of the same court.

The three convicted internet fraudsters are: Obioma Chinomso (a.k.a Trieu Nguyen), John Urum (alias Catherine Wilison George) and Okechukwu Kendrick (a.k.a Nazil Comak).
They were convicted on a separate one-count charge for internet fraud.
Their conviction was secured by the Uyo Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
