Parker McCollum is soaring, and it’s not just his career. He’s got some personal news that’s got him on cloud nine. The country crooner and his wife, Hallie Ray Light, are about to become parents. They’re expecting their first kiddo together.
“God’s little blessing,” they called it. They shared this joyous news on Instagram on Feb. 7. The post included a sweet snapshot of them sharing a smooch by the sea. “We Iove you so much already, Baby M!” they gushed.
This happy announcement comes just a month after some not-so-great news. The “Pretty Heart” singer had to cancel a show in College Station, TX. The reason? “Unforeseen circumstances.” That’s all he said back then.
He did hint at something though. In a video on Instagram on Jan. 5, he said, “It’ll all make sense at some point in the near future.” He wanted to keep his fans in the loop, he said. And he did drop a hint. “That being said, we have some exciting news that we’ll be announcing in the near future so be on the lookout!” he wrote in the caption.
The lovebirds, Hallie and Parker, got hitched in March 2022. The wedding was in the “Burn It Down” singer’s home state, Texas. They’d gotten engaged the previous summer. Celebrating his first year of marriage, the 31-year-old reflected on his journey. He’s learned a lot from his better half, he mused.
