A Corps member serving in the Community Secondary School, Igbaku, Ayamelum Local Government Area of Anambra State, Mr Charles Akhabua has reconstructed a five–room water closet toilet as his personal community development project.
The Delta State born Corps member said he was motivated to embark on the project because the existing one in the school was dilapidated and abandoned resulting in students using the open space as an alternative for easing themselves.
He thanked the Principal of the school, community leaders and other philanthropists for funding the project.
Commissioning the project, the NYSC State Coordinator, Mrs Blessing Ekene Iruma, described the structure as a star project and enjoined the students to make proper use of the facility.
