Corps member, Mercy Ekanem, decided to overturn the wheels as she paired her crested vest with a short skirt to Community Development Service (CDS) this past Thursday and it has us wondering —is this a product of creativity or rebellion?
We are already in the know how some Nigerian youth corps members usually redesign their uniforms and give it new kind of looks: Some turn their jackets to waist shirts, their Khaki trousers to really short Khaki shorts and all but have we seen Khaki really short and tight skirts?
In 2015/2016 NYSC service year, I had fun, but, it did not translate to this. But, there’s one of my colleagues, a male, who did something resembling what Ekanem did last week Thursday. We called him, ‘Ahead Ahead’. It’s fun being with Mr Ochuko!
