Corner-to-corner Ken combo is one of the most stylish and bizarre we've seen in Street Fighter 6

Sometimes you look at a fighting game combo and you wonder how in the heck did that work, so you watch it again while nodding your head — but you still don’t fully understand.

That’s what we felt seeing MuscleNoob’s impressive corner-to-corner Ken combo in Street Fighter 6 that’s both incredibly stylish but also pretty bizarre in action.

The clip in question starts with MuscleNoob blocking a Master ranked Ryu’s wakeup Overdrive Shoryuken attempt, so this was his chance to fill up the style meter with that big Punish Counter window.

Before Ryu has even come back down, his Ken is already doing the run cancel burning version of his Tatsumaki Senpukyaku that hits behind the Shoto, which gives him just enough time to keep the fun train rolling.

Going for the punch target combo into Drive Rush puts Ryu back in the juggle state, so MuscleNoob is able to once again land the Tatsumaki hitting behind him… except this time they’re traveling towards the other side of the screen.

He is able to use a raw Drive Rush while Ryu is still spinning in the air, so he goes for another running Tatsu with this one hitting both in front and behind Ken because why not.

Now in the opposite corner, MuscleNoob uses the last of his Drive Gauge on OD Dragonlash Kick to go into level 3 Super with the combo KO’ing Ryu from around 40% health.

When you break it down a bit more like this, it is easier to understand what is actually going on here with the juggle points and interaction with Drive Rush, but it’s just funny to see something this wacky possible in a Street Fighter game (that’s not an Alpha custom combo).

MuscleNoob can only laugh after he lands the Super, noting he was able to land the combo first try after apparently not having done so in a long time.

If that wasn’t enough, this win was also enough to push MuscleNoob’s Ken into Legend rank for icing on that cake.
