The defending Gold Cup champion Corey Day entered Saturday’s main event calm, and fought off Rico Abreu for all 40 laps to win his second straight Gold Cup Race of Champions 410-winged sprint car event at Silver Dollar Speedway, edging out Abreu by just 0.419 seconds.
