KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
The candidate is expected to learn and be competent on the following on the following detailed key performance areas:
Assist in managing the quality of work and budget costs.
- In consultation with the CPM or delegated official assist in the management of the quality of work and costing
Assist in communicating with clients, developers, architects, and engineers.
- Ensure professional communication with all stakeholders
Assist in the preparation of work schedules for the GPF programmes .
- Keep records of work schedules
Participate in the identification, development, and utilization of talent to maximize productivity and quality of work.
Assist in the adherence to both budgetary and time constraints.
Participate in the visits and inspection of building sites.
- Prepare a schedule of all sites to be visited in consultation with the CPM and or the delegated official
Assist in the reporting on progress and challenges.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports
Assist in the finding, employing, and managing contractors and sub-contractors.
- Work with the CPM and or the delegated official to find, employ and manage contractors and subcontractors
Learning and applying the latest relevant knowledge to the work.
- Bring innovation and latest trends
General Duties
- Analysing targets.
- Participation in the meetings with department heads.
- Assist in the management and coordination of monthly reporting, budgeting, and reforecast processes.
- Assist in the provision of back-office services
Teamwork
- Ability to work closely with others
- Being pro-active in assisting others
- Contribution to business unit meetings and brain storming sessions
- Mentoring and coaching of interns and peers
Adhoc duties
- Assignments from the CIDO and Construction Project Manager as and when required

Requirements
APPOINTMENT REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of Appropriate Recognized qualification at NQF level 6 in Computer science, Civil engineering, and Building sciences or related qualification
- A relevant NQF 7 degree/qualification will be advantageous.
- No work experience in a related field.
- The applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 35 years
