Condition Monitoring Technician at Mondi Group

Your mission:

Perform Condition Monitoring support service to meet maintenance objectives safely and efficiently. Review and adjustment of predictive maintenance activities and development of predictive maintenance measures.
Appropriate setup and optimization of predictive maintenance routines.
Setup of maintenance strategy and standards for condition monitoring, lubrication plans, inspection requirements and periodic checks.
Monitoring and recommendation of technical improvements.
Advise personnel assigned to equipment maintenance regarding preventive maintenance.
Develop training program and provide technical assistance regarding preventive maintenance.
Technical knowledge of vibration monitoring, thermography, tribology and non-destructive testing.
Excellent technical problem-solving abilities; knowledge about methods.
Proven track record of assessing and reporting the condition of electrical, hydraulic and mechanical equipment.
Adherence to Safety Policies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills within a team environment.
Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.

Your profile:

5 years of experience in a similar position in heavy engineering.
Minimum N4 Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
S4/N6 Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering will be advantageous.
Trade Tested Artisan Fitter or Millwright.
Recognition for prior learning will be considered.
Pulp & Paper industry experience will be advantageous.
Vibration Analysis CAT Level 1.
Thermography CAT Level 1 will be advantageous.
Tribology – Lubrication Level 1 or similar.
Computer literacy (including basic SAP) is essential.
