The Conference of Nigerian Political Parties, CNPP has congratulated the Senator-elect for Cross River South Senatorial district, Asuquo Ekpenyong, on his victory at the February 25th National Assembly election.
In a congratulatory letter signed by it’s state chairman, Mr Patrick Alli, CNPP described Ekpenyong as the right man for the job and his victory as deserving, fitting and proper.
The amalgam of political parties in Nigeria expressed optimism that the Senator-elect will offer Cross River South quality representation when he takes his seat at the senate.
The letter reads in parts: ” Your victory as we all know, did not come on a platter of gold, this is why it is more treasured and prized.

“We do also know that the success behind your streak of successes is divine of which you have acknowledged.
“As a coalition of political parties and political pressure groups, we have been following your landmark accomplishments and sacrifices, this indeed informed the overwhelming support of your candidature by the good people of the southern senatorial district.”
Continuing, CNPP in the congratulatory letter averred that “we have every confidence that you shall not renege on your rock solid resolve to continue to give meaning to the lives of our people.”
