Manchester United’s activity in the summer transfer window was not the only area of business that their new ownership invested in.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe aims to reform the club from top to bottom and made various changes in senior positions at the club.
Earlier this year, Dan Ashworth and Jason Wilcox were appointed as sporting and technical directors respectively.
In January, Omar Berrada left the blue side of Manchester to join United as their new CEO.
In the coaching department, INEOS Sport have hired new academy and senior coaches, the most notable being Ruud van Nistelrooy as assistant manager.

In July 2024, Rene Hake also joined Erik ten Hag’s coaching staff at Carrington.
Van Nistelrooy and Hake both replaced Mitchell van der Gaag and Benni McCarthy in the dugout.
Hake was previously the head coach of Dutch club Go Ahead Eagles and left after two years in the Eredivisie.
Go Ahead technical director Paul Bosvelt spoke to Voetbal International and expressed his dissatisfaction at how United approached Rene Hake.
“I thought it was very strange it took so long for Manchester United to come forward. A bit of misplaced arrogance,” he said.

United took months to finalise their deal with Hake, which left Go Ahead unsure if he was leaving or not.
Thus, in this time, the Dutch club were hesitant to find a replacement for their manager.
Bosvelt seemingly felt that United approached Hake with the view that they could take him whenever they wanted to.
However, in hindsight, he may be smiling after witnessing United’s form this season.
United have made their worst start to a Premier League season in history, with eight points in seven games.
Meanwhile, Go Ahead sit seventh in the Eredivisie, an improvement from their ninth place finish last campaign.
