Click Burgundy's top tier fighting game portraits celebrate tournament winners, new announcements and love for the genre

A true fighting game artist can exemplify and showcase what makes this genre and its iconic characters shine outside of the gameplay, and there’s plenty of that to be found in our community.

One of those who does it better than almost everyone else, however, is Japan’s Click Burgundy with top tier portraits that never disappoint.

As per usual, the master-ranked artist likes to celebrate recent happenings around the FGC, whether they be big tournaments or character announcements.

That of course applies to Kunimitsu representing RB|Arslan Ash’s astounding Triple Crown victory in Tekken 7, Luke holding a Hit Box for HB|Kawano’s big Capcom Pro Tour Japan win, Menat representing Team FAV Gaming and Sako for the Street Fighter League Pro-JP playoffs, and 2B’s reveal for Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising giving them a new excuse to draw the Nier Automata android again — though there seems to be nothing for Ed in Street Fighter 6 yet.

If you’d like to help support Click Burgundy’s impressive work, they’ve also partnered officially with Arc System Works to create Guilty Gear Strive desk mats that you can check out in this post.

You will find a collection of Click Burgundy’s most recent fighting game artworks in the gallery below, and there’s plenty more to be found on their X / Twitter page too.
