We’re now just a few weeks away from the launch of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, and there will be more to look forward to shortly after the game releases too.
SNK has announced they’ll be at Evo Japan 2025 next month where the first DLC character for the game will be playable for attendees.
At their official booth, SNK is offering players the chance to try out Andy Bogard early and see him in action for the first time.
Play sessions will be limited to 20 minutes, an they note if it’s too busy, it may be hard to get in to see him at all at the demo corner.
We already know the full Season 1 DLC lineup for Fatal Fury with Andy being first followed by Street Fighter’s Ken Masters, Joe Higashi, Chun-Li and Mr. Big.
SNK said they plan to release new DLC characters every two months in City of the Wolves, so with Andy being marked as Summer, we can expect him in June and then Ken likely in August.
Although Fatal Fury won’t be an official mainstage game at Evo Japan 2025, they will have a side tournament there at the event that’s bigger than ever.
That’s largely thanks to Street Fighter 6 bringing in the second-largest Evo tournament bracket ever with more players signed up than all the other games combined.
This week also saw the announcement of Hokutomaru as the last main roster member of Fatal Fury after soccer legend Cristiano Ronaldo and DJ Salvatore Ganacci were also revealed.
Those who pre-order Fatal Fury get the Season 1 Pass for free, which is set to release on April 24, 2025 for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
Evo Japan 2025 is set to take place May 9–11.
