Evo 2024 is happening a bit earlier than usual this year, so we’ve only got just over a week until the weekend of fighting game festivities kicks off.
SNK just announced tonight they’ll be holding a special developer panel at Evo that fans should pay attention to plus the first playable demo to the public for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves in North America.
The SNK developer panel is scheduled to take place the first day of Evo on Friday, July 19, though there isn’t an exact time set just yet.
New details will be discussed about Fatal Fury’s return from the team, but also this is where SNK will apparently announce what’s happening with their special character DLC development for The King of Fighters 15.
With Terry Bogard and Mai Shiranui joining Street Fighter 6 Season 2, there’s been a lot of talk of Capcom characters coming over to KOF or Fatal Fury, so we’ll see if that’s the big reveal or if SNK has something else to help send off their current fighting game with its potentially final found of support.

On top of the panel, the official SNK booth at Evo will offer the public a taste of the City of the Wolves with playable demo stations available throughout the weekend.
Rock Howard, Terry Bogard, Preecha, Marco Rodrigues and Vox Reaper will be the featured characters this time around (so no trying B. Jenet yet still) where plaeyrs will be limited to 15 minutes per trial.
SNK already released an official guide for the new Fatal Fury to show people how to play each of the characters and use the new REV System.
Those who try out the demo and fill out a questionnaire will receive an exclusive Fatal Fury lanyard at the booth while attendees who post pictures from the photo spot at the booth on X / Twitter can receive a Fatal Fury beer cheering stick, which is pretty funny.

Those looking for an extra challenge can attempt to win special fight stick buttons featuring the Fatal Fury cast as well by beating two challengers in a row as long as the supply lasts.
Evo 2024 is set to take place July 19–21 in Las Vegas, Nevada where we’ll see a ton of great fighting game action on top of plenty of reveals likely including some more Fatal Fury fighters too.
