City of the Wolves Open Beta 2 starts next week with one more character and training mode

Information for the Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves Open Beta 2 has been revealed. The next session is scheduled to begin on March 26 at 10 p.m. PDT and last until March 31 at 1 a.m. PDT.

With the last beta test, SNK received a lot of criticism about the lack of a training mode. It seems that they’ll be addressing this problem as it’s been confirmed that the training mode will be included within Open Beta 2.

Additionally, there will be one more fighter that will be available to use. Tizoc, also known as “Griffon Mask,” will be available starting on March 26.

This brings the total number of usable fighters up to nine for the Open Beta 2. Along with Tizoc, this roster will include Terry, Rock, Kain, Hotaru, Jenet, Mai, Preecha, and Vox.

Just like with before, the available stages will be Training, Bar “Street Stars,” Universal Arena, and Training Ground. Only four stages in total, but there will be more included with the full launch.

Open Beta 2 will be available on the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, and Steam. Of course, these are all the platforms that the game will be available on upon launch.

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is set to be launched on April 24, 2025. As such, this will likely be the final open beta test until the big release.
