Though we do know that Street Fighter’s Ken and Chun-Li will be joining as eventual guest DLC, SNK has revealed the identities of 11 of the 17 starting roster characters for the upcoming Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, and we have concept art for all 11 to share with you today.
This includes the likes of Mai Shiranui (who will be receiving her first major costume redesign in 30 years), Terry Bogard, Rock Howard, B. Jenet, Tizoc, newcomer Vox Reaper, and more.
While it’s not at all uncommon to see concept art ideas that didn’t make it into the final product, these all seem to capture the designs developers eventually ended up going with. Each image highlights a handful of character accessories, some of which you may not have noticed otherwise as they blend right into the bigger picture.
You can view all 11 via the gallery below, and we’ll be sure to feature the remaining six once SNK has finished revealing who they are and what they look like.

There’s still some mystery to the remaining base roster members, and with at least a few months before City of the Wolves’ release we figure they’ll trickle in, one by one, every few weeks or so.
When it comes to character plans for the new Fatal Fury installment, producer Yasuyuki Oda recently spoke about intentions to nearly double the launch roster as developers have already got plans three seasons worth of DLC.
City of the Wolves launches early 2025 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and Epic Games Store. Pre-order DLC characters, including Ken and Chun-Li, with the Season 1 pass in the Special Edition ($59.99).
