Role Summary:
The Cinema General Manager will oversee all aspects of operations for a multi-functional entertainment venue, including a cinema, a café on the top floor, a restaurant, and a box office. The candidate will ensure seamless customer experiences, maximize profitability, and maintain high operational standards across all departments. They will lead a team of managers and staff, implement effective business strategies, and drive growth through innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic and Operational Leadership
- Oversee daily operations across the cinema, café, restaurant, and box office.
- Develop and execute business strategies to enhance revenue streams across all departments.
- Monitor and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and legal regulations.
Staff Management
- Lead, mentor, and motivate departmental managers (Cinema Operations, Café, Restaurant, and Box Office).
- Recruit, train, and develop staff to deliver world-class service standards.
- Conduct performance evaluations and foster a positive workplace culture.
Cinema Operations
- Manage film schedules, ensure timely receipt of movie keys from distributors, and optimize screening times for maximum attendance.
- Maintain high standards for projection quality, audio systems, and seating arrangements.
- Oversee box office operations, ticketing, and customer service.
Café and Restaurant Oversight
- Collaborate with café and restaurant managers to develop appealing menus and promotions.
- Ensure food quality, hygiene standards, and timely service delivery.
- Drive initiatives to enhance dining experiences and boost customer retention.
Financial Management
- Analyze financial performance, prepare reports, and provide insights to stakeholders.
- Manage inventory and control costs in food, beverage, and operational areas.
- Identify new revenue opportunities, such as partnerships, sponsorships, and special events.
Marketing and Customer Engagement
- Work with the marketing team to promote films, dining offerings, and events across digital and offline channels.
- Develop loyalty programs to attract and retain customers.
- Monitor customer feedback and implement strategies to improve satisfaction.
Facility Management
- Ensure the venue (cinema, café, restaurant, and box office) is well-maintained, clean, and visually appealing.
- Supervise regular maintenance of equipment, fixtures, and IT systems.
- Handle vendor negotiations for supplies and services.

- Experience overseeing F&B operations and customer service teams.
- Proficiency in cinema management software, POS systems, and scheduling tools.
- Demonstrated track record of improving operational efficiency and profitability.
