Though they aren’t the most expensive figures we’ve seen lately
There’s apparently no such thing as too much Street Fighter merchandise in the world for Capcom, and it does open the door to some more creative interpretations of the series’ characters like this.
The powerful Chun-Li and domineering Juri Han were recently revealed to be receiving a couple of new statues in revealing bunny costumes instead of their usual attire.
Both of these figures are coming out of Union Creative and Freeing as part of their B-style line, which we presume stands for bunny.
Their promotional images appear to show them being pretty darn detailed, especially on the fishnet stockings, which we’d hope would be the case for the price.
Chun and Juri’s bunny outfits are based (at least partly) around their more traditional Street Fighter costumes though the latter is wearing a lot more pink than usual.
These are 1/4 scale statues, so Chun is said to stand at 48cm / 18.72in with her foot above her head while Juri is more hunched over for her pose making her only 35cm / 13.65in tall.
Their list price is set at 35,000 yen each, which equates to around $242 USD, though you’ll likely have to pay up a decent bit more internationally since it looks as they’re only planned to officially release in Japan currently.
Pre-orders are now open for both figures with Chun-Li scheduled to release in March 2025 and Juri coming in April.
While these aren’t the most expensive Street Fighter statues we’ve seen (with the big Zangief perhaps still holding that honor from recent memory), fans are going to have to shell out a pretty penny to pick up one let alone both.
Those looking for something more standard and much cheaper can pick up the Pop Up Parade figures for Juri and Chun-Li for only around $35 each.
