The frontline All Progressives Congress (APC) aspirant for the November 8th, 2025, gubernatorial election in Anambra State, Sir Paul Chukwuma, has called for brotherly love and kindness among Nigerians during this Christmas season and beyond.
Delivering his Christmas message at his Nneyi, Umueri country home in Anambra East Local Government Area of the State, on Wednesday, Sir Chukwuma described Christmas as a special time for Christians to reflect on the sacrificial love of Jesus Christ by giving and sharing with others.
“Christmas is a time to rise as one and demonstrate our shared humanity. We show love to mankind, as Christ our Saviour did, making no distinction between Jews and Gentiles. The birth of Christ offers mankind an opportunity for re-birth and renewal. Christmas itself is an act of love,” Sir Chukwuma stated.
He emphasized that the essence of Christmas reminds Christians of the importance of love, forgiveness, kindness, mercy, and joy. By practicing these virtues, both during Christmas and beyond, Sir Chukwuma said Christians fulfill the mission of Christ and embody the true meaning of Christianity.
Speaking as a prominent member of the prestigious knights of the Church, Sir Chukwuma lamented the challenges facing Anambra State, noting that the state urgently needs God’s mercy, love, and kindness during this festive period.
“Our dear Anambra has been traumatized all year by prolonged insecurity and avoidable deaths. While we decry the leadership failures that have led to these unfortunate outcomes, we pray that the true love symbolized by the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ will manifest among our people this Christmas. May His loving kindness heal Ndi Anambra from the trauma they have endured this year,” he said.
Sir Chukwuma extended his heartfelt wishes to Ndi Anambra and their friends for a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
