On this very special occasion, commemorating the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, let me sincerely express our profound appreciation to the Government and people of Cross River State for their immense support and true friendship throughout the year 2024.
This special season reminds us of the real essence to realign with the virtues of love, peace and harmony finding genuine expressions in the doctrines of Christ.
As auspicious as the celebrations may be, the Cross River State Council of the NUJ is not unmindful of the unwavering commitment of the Government towards its members and programs as well as the symbiotic relationship we have enjoyed as a Government and a union.
Indeed, the need for us as a union to celebrate with sober reflections cannot be overemphasized.
While wishing our members here in the State and the Nation a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year, let me once again pledge undiluted allegiance and service to the Union and commitment to professionalism, diligence, responsible leadership and integrity on behalf of the members.
