Chinese investors for construction of central park arrives Calabar

A team of Chinese investors to partner the Cross River State government for the construction of a central motor park in Calabar arrived the state on Tuesday.
The team comprising Linda Long Vice President Zonson Smart Auto Corporation, Nadia Zhao CHO, Dongguan Belt and Road Ysntourism Management Company limited were met by Chief of Staff to Governor Ayade, Mr Martins Orim at the Margaret Ekpo International Airport.
The team's visit which is at the instance of Comrade Godwin Nyiam, Director General of the Department of Public Transportations, DOPT,  would discuss terms for the construction of the park located at Picolo junction in Calabar.
The DOPT concerned with the congestion in Calabar and high traffic has sought and obtained the approval of His Excellency, Senator Professor Ben Ayade for the construction of a central park in the outskirts of the city.
The DOPT boss has within the short period he assumed office added innovations in the management of traffic in the state making him one of the most efficient aide to Governor Ayade.
The investors are awaiting the return of the  Governor to discuss modalities of the partnership for the construction of the park within the shortest possible time.
