Nigerian-born striker Chido Obi-Martin has moved from Arsenal to Manchester United, taking an important step in his young football career. The 16-year-old signed a contract with Manchester United on October 4, 2024, after months of talks about his pay. He is now officially part of the Red Devils.
Obi left Arsenal after choosing not to renew his contract, which made him a free agent and attracted interest from several clubs across England and Europe. In his goodbye message, he thanked those who helped him, saying, “Very happy to sign with this amazing club. Time to focus and achieve all my dreams. @manchesterunited.”
