Chido Obi-Martin is now officially a Manchester United player.
The wonderkid striker signed on the dotted line yesterday with the club.
When it was revealed in July that the striker had visited Carrington, not many believed it.
That’s because Obi-Martin was making a huge splash in the Arsenal academy and AFC fans believed that he was set to make a major impact at the Emirates.
But surprise turned into anticipation as the young Denmark striker hinted that he was on the way to Old Trafford.
And now it’s been completed.

The transfer has taken slightly longer than anticipated due to the English Premier League needing to ratify the transfer.
During that period of time, Obi-Martin hasn’t made any public comments on his future.
Aside from seeing the occasion video with him practising his finishing, there hasn’t been much comments from the player’s side while things get wrapped up.
The last public post he had made was to thank Arsenal for the time that he’d spent learning his craft there.
But that has changed.
Taking to his Instagram page, Chido Obi-Martin has finally broken his silence and commented on his move to Manchester United.
“Very happy to sign with this amazing club, time to focus and achieve all my dreams. Thanks to everyone who has helped me get this far. @manchesterunited”
Along with the caption, Obi-Martin has shared five images of himself.
Four are pictures of him signing his contract and the last one is a bit special.
It’s a throwback photo of the youngster from his youth and it’s him wearing a Manchester United kit with the DHL sponsor on the front.
This seems a major indication that Chido Obi-Martin has been a Man Utd fan from his youth.
That seems to explain reports that he decided to join Manchester United for reasons that had nothing to do with money.
MUFC fans will now be looking forward to seeing the youngster play at Old Trafford in the not too distant future.
