Chelsea v West Ham live stream: Wesley Fofana debut but Pierre-Emerick Aubameyangto wait, while David Moyes boasts horror Stamford Bridge record

Chelsea will be looking to get back on track by hosting West Ham in their second London derby of the season.

The Blues have struggled for form in the new campaign having only managed one win in their last four Premier League games.

Mount and Rice are level on three wins and three defeats each between Premier League meetings

Thomas Tuchel’s side have already fallen to shock defeats to Leeds and Southampton while they were held to a 2-2 draw with Tottenham last month.

West Ham similarly could only manage a stalemate with London rivals Spurs last time out and both teams will be desperate to return to winning ways here.

Chelsea v West Ham: Date and start time

This Premier League match will take place on Saturday, September 3.

The London derby at Stamford Bridge will kick-off at 3pm.

West Ham manager David Moyes has won none of his 17 Premier League away games against Chelsea.

Chelsea v West Ham: Team news

Wesley Fofana is in line to make his debut for the hosts alongside Kalidou Koulibaly and Thiago Silva in a back three.

Reece James will be hoping to recover from the knock that kept him out of the Southampton defeat with Conor Gallagher back from suspension.

The other new signings – Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Denis Zakaria are available but whether the striker starts is unclear owing to the jaw injury he suffered in the violent robbery at his home.

West Ham meanwhile will be desperate to have new striker Gianluca Scamacca bounce back from illness that kept him out in midweek.

Ben Johnson remains injured but Emerson Palmieri could be set to start against his former side Chelsea just weeks after leaving.

Chelsea v West Ham: What has been said?

Danny Murphy questioned Chelsea’s need for Marc Cucurella and thinks the club would have been better served targeting Declan Rice.

He told White and Jordan on talkSPORT: “One bit of criticism I could say is, there have been some complaints and bad luck in losing your midfield players, but if you are going to spend £60m on a full-back when you’ve already got [Ben] Chilwell and also got [Marcos] Alonso, who is a Premier League winner.

“You’ve got two players covering that and capable of playing left wing-back. You go and buy one for £60m plus and leave yourself short in the middle of the pitch and the striking department.

“That seems strange. I didn’t get that one and still don’t get it. It’s not a slant on Cucurella, he’s a good player.

“It’s not a necessity. You are better using that, putting another £50m on and getting Declan Rice.”
