Andre Onana has struggled to convince Ruben Amorim and Manchester United fans since his arrival.
David de Gea was pushed out to make way for Onana under Erik ten Hag’s leadership.
However, the Cameroonian has made too many errors to be seen as a top goalkeeper.
His mistake-ridden performances have left the United faithful unconvinced about him.
As a result, Manchester United are now searching for potential upgrades in goal.

According to The Independent, Borussia Dortmund’s Gregor Kobel might be “in demand.”
Chelsea and Manchester United are both keen on signing him in the summer window.
Concerns over Onana’s form have made Kobel a viable target for the Red Devils.
The same is true for Chelsea, where Robert Sanchez has also struggled for consistency.
Kobel has been one of the Bundesliga’s top goalkeepers since joining Dortmund in 2021.
The Swiss international has kept 46 clean sheets in nearly 150 appearances for BVB.
He took time to establish himself after spells at Hoffenheim, Augsburg, and Stuttgart.
But now, the 27-year-old is widely regarded as one of Europe’s most reliable shot-stoppers.

His progress has attracted interest from some of the biggest clubs in world football.
Chelsea have been monitoring Kobel for some time and remain keen on signing him.
Sanchez’s erratic form has drawn criticism, including from United legend Gary Neville.
Even though Chelsea have multiple goalkeeping options, Kobel would be a top addition.
Meanwhile, United’s backup keeper Altay Bayindir has not convinced Ruben Amorim either.
That leaves Kobel as a strong candidate to take over as United’s first-choice goalkeeper.
The Independent claims the Swiss star will be highly sought after in the summer window.
It remains to be seen whether he will choose a move to the Premier League next season.
