Job specification
Grade 11 or equivalent
Personnel Chairlift Modules or training will be advantageous
Must have a Fitter Aide Certificate
1-3 years’ experience as a Chairlift Assistant within a mining or industrialized environment will be advantageous
Proficient in English and any other of the 11 official languages
Applicant must possess written and verbal communication skills
Be able to work shifts
Ability to adapt to change in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
South African Citizenship
Clear Criminal Record
Responsibilities
Assist the chairlift operator with the safe operation and monitoring of chairlift systems.
Ensure that employees comply with safety protocols and use equipment properly.
Conduct regular inspections and report any maintenance issues
Practice and adhere to company policies and procedures
Adhere to MHSA standards & Gold1’s safety motto : “Nothing is so important that it cannot be done safely”
