May 2016 will forever remain a remarkable month in the family annals of late Chief Augustine Abi of Egbe Mbube in Ogoja LGA, Cross River State as they gave out the hand of their dutiful and beautiful daughter, former Miss Nelly Abi, in marriage.
Late Chief Augustine Abi is the biological father of Cross River leading social commentator, the cerebral Prince Thomas Abi Jr.
14 May 2016 witnessed the Traditional Marriage (TM) ceremony which took place at Egbe Mbube, Ogoja; while
20 May 2016 recorded the White Marriage ceremony which took place at Holy Family Catholic Church, Life Camp, Abuja.
The event had the former Governor of Bayelsa State, Mr. Timipre Sylva, former DSS Spokesperson, Ms. Marilyn Ogar, Hon Mark Ukpo, Directors in the FIRS, captains of industries, businessmen, and other members of the public in attendance.
May the happiness that attended the couples, family members, friends and well wishers during the event remain indelible especially in the lives of the just wedded couples. May Nelly bear her husband nine sons!
