Fulham have been trying to sign Cedric for at least three months now and they have finally landed their man.
The hold-up was largely due to Fulham already having the maximum number of Premier League players on loan (two) meaning they would need to cancel one or turn one of them into a permanent deal. They have opted for the latter option with Shane Duffy.

Cedric has spent the past two and a half seasons at Arsenal, making 38 Premier League appearances and scoring two goals.
While this deal is simply a straight loan, there were reports that Fulham were trying to negotiate a price with Arsenal with a view to making Cedric’s move to Fulham permanent in the summer.

There is no word on how those negotiations have gone.
Cedric, however, has.
