The CCR Officer at the Packing Plant in Ibese will oversee the central control room operations, ensuring efficient, safe, and timely packing of products. The role involves monitoring and controlling the packing processes, coordinating with various departments to ensure optimal production output and quality standards.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Monitor the entire packing process from the control room and ensure optimal operation of all equipment.
Assist in troubleshooting packing plant equipment and coordinating maintenance when necessary.
Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and safety regulations during packing operations.
Conduct regular checks on the quality of packed products and immediately report any discrepancies.
Collaborate with the production team to optimize packing schedules and minimize downtime.
Document and maintain records of packing operations including production reports, discrepancies, and maintenance activity.
Train new staff on CCR operations and packing procedures to ensure operational effectiveness.
Any other duties as may be assigned by the management.
Requirements
Education and Work Experience
B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a packing plant or production environment.
Skills & Competencies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using control room monitoring systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing operational conditions.
Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental protocols in a manufacturing environment.
