For someone whose thighs are so legendary they serve as a trademark, Street Fighter’s Chun-Li is rarely seen training or sculpting the muscles behind her iconic Lightning Legs attack. That changed earlier this year when Premium Collectibles Studio showcased a brilliant powerlifter Chun-Li statue that sees the character squatting over 400 pounds.
Said statue made quite the splash in the fighting game community, enough so to garner the attention of the talented Caytie Cosplay. Caytie decided to bring this version of Chun to life and has recently posted the resulting photos to her social media pages for us all to appreciate.
Caytie explains in the text alongside her post that this look was inspired by the aforementioned PCS statue, but also by the work of gifted illustrator Edwin “Ironpinky” Huang who drew the original concept.
She also goes out of her way to note that while she is no stranger to the squat rack (her personal record is 205 lbs), the weights in the photo are actually fake. The bar in the image is a real 45 pound bar, but the plates are not.

We’re hoping the cosplayer has more photos in this attire or eventually features it in a full shoot, but for now we were able to find this pre-workout (we assume due to the lack of sweat and evidence of fatigue) selfie:
Though the top is different, powerlifting Chun is technically wearing the character’s gear from back in the days of Street Fighter Alpha. Caytie took this look on once upon a time as well, to top tier results:
If you like what you saw here but missed our recent feature of Caytie’s take on gender bent Akuma in Street Fighter 6, be sure to take a look at that next.
