The transfer season is well underway, with United already having made two signings in the form of Silva Mexes and James Overy.
With two players coming in, and more transfer targets being reported, United are expected to start seeing players leaving the club to make space for new signings.
Already Raphael Varane is known to be leaving the club at the end of his contract this year, and expected to follow is midfielder Casemiro.
Over recent time the Brazilian has been linked to Saudi Arabia having interest reported from Al-Nassr, Al-Ahli and Al-Qasidiya all being interested in his signature.
Casemiro has managed to net 12 goals and grab nine assists across his 83 games at Old Trafford, becoming a true asset to the squad, also being used in defence to cover this season’s injury woes.
CaughtOffside have reported that Al-Nassr are looking at spending mega money on the 32-year-old, with representatives of the Brazilian and the Saudi club already having taken place.
It’s also been reported by Spanish publication, Marca, that Cristiano Ronaldo has been in contact with the Brazilian to persuade him to join Al-Nassr after his second season at the club with no silverware.
The Ballon d’Or winner is yet to lift a team trophy since moving to the Saudi league in 2023, with the Portuguese star’s only award being the Saudi Pro League Golden Boot for 2023/24, scoring 35 goals.
The 2022/23 season saw Al-Nassr get knocked out of the King Cup in the Semi-Final, losing 1-0 to Al-Wehda. This season they made it to the final, facing defending champions Al-Hilal, fresh off the back of their successful season winning the title 14 points clear of Al-Nassr.
The final didn’t go Al-Nassr’s way with Al-Hilal winning 5-4 on penalties to lift the trophy for a second year in a row. Coming so close to winning the cup, Ronaldo was noticeably devastated after the game, breaking down in tears.
With Ronaldo calling in reinforcements, it’s being reported that Al-Nassr are ready to offer between €90 million and €100 million to reunite the old Real Madrid and United teammates.
