With the closing days of the Turkish, Dutch, and Saudi Arabian transfer windows soon upon us, Manchester United have one last chance of offloading some stars this summer.
One of their men who was deemed a priority sale this summer was Brazilian midfielder Casemiro. The veteran has been linked with moves to Bayern Munich and Al-Nassr, however, nothing has materialised.
Now though, Casemiro has recently been linked with Turkish champions, Galatasaray. The Super Lig club are looking to bring in an experienced central midfielder before the transfer window closes on the 13th September.

Turkish publication, Turkiye Gazetesi, has reported an update on Galatasaray’s pursuit of the Brazil international, reporting a deal was done yesterday to see the United midfielder move to the Turkish club on a season-long loan deal.
However, it’s also reported that Casemiro wasn’t convinced on the move, wanting to remain in England and fight for a place in the United squad.
Unfortunately for Casemiro, he’ll have stiff competition with the recent signing of Manuel Ugarte. The Uruguayan is expected to overtake Casemiro in the pecking order, especially if Casemiro’s recent performances are anything to go by.
The Brazil international has come under much criticism after his poor showing against Liverpool at Old Trafford. Casemiro was taken off at half-time with his mistakes costing The Red Devils two goals and ultimately, the match.
Interestingly, Casemiro is looking to fight for his spot in Erik ten Hag’s squad after recently criticising the manager’s style of play. The 32-year-old has claimed that ten Hag’s style of play and tactics last year “didn’t play to his strengths, but exposed his weaknesses with him having to cover more ground.”
