26 December showcased the Youth Carnival of Carnival Calabar 2016. Recall that this year brought a new turn as what we have as youth carnival today was formerly Children Carnival.
No fewer than 7 tertiary institutions were present at the maiden edition of the Youth
Carnival including:
1. University of Calabar,
2. Cross River University of Technology,
1. University of Calabar,
2. Cross River University of Technology,
3. University of Port Harcourt,
4. University of Uyo,
5. Rivers State University,
6. Nassarawa State University, etc.
His Excellency the Deputy Governor of Cross River State, Professor Ivara Esu declared the event opened.
Feelers has it that the outing was impressive for a start.
